The whole industry has been talking about it for the past 10 or 15 years and it still hasn’t really happened; you are walking past a Starbucks and “beep beep” you have a message from Starbucks offering you a discount on a Latte.

Along with the search results, you are given, surprise, surprise, a promotion to get 20% on a Latte at a nearby coffee shop. Or, if it is late at night you might get a buy-1-get-1-free offer on beers at a nearby pub.
Yojo Promos will soon become one of the most cost efficient and effective means for local businesses to attract customers. They save money since their ads are only shown to people in their immediate area and when they are open. They also only pay when the person clicks on their promotion teaser. We are sure that our click-thru-rates and follow through will be quite high since the target consumer will be in that area.
At the present we just have promos in the Bay Area. Within this year, however, we will have hundreds of promotions in the New York and Los Angeles areas.
